Ceyhun Birinci - Graphic Designer

My first typeface design with a full character set (in 4 weights including italics, along with Turkish support), which I started designing for my own identity project about a year ago, is finally complete and available for purchase at most of the world's leading font reseller websites including MyFonts, Fonts, Linotype and ITC Fonts.

I'm glad that my ambition and hard work to create such a typeface that will express the feelings of future, science and innovativeness with a modern, clean line had paid well and I'm very satisfied with the result.

"Istanbul Moves" is the name of the latest contemporary photography book of my Istanbul-based American graphic artist friend Justin Eccles and his photographer partner Jose Reina. Seems like they're terribly busy with exhibitions lately, I've recently attended to one and it was interesting to see Istanbul from a different perspective, let's say, in a "contemporary" way.

Pablo Porlan is not just fun to hang out with, he also happens to be an extremely talented photographer. Yes he's Spanish but enjoys the privilage of living in Paris, though he was moving along the Mediterranean coasts recently for his photography project called "Personal Mediterraneo". At the streets he takes portrait photos of people of almost every nationality, exploring the diversity and similarities between them and shows us what their "style" looks like nowadays.

My diploma project was rebranding of Anadol, an old Turkish mass-production automobile company. It was thrilling to work on such a project which involves all kinds of aspects of graphic design. Afterall, car brands were always been among the most influential brands at all times, so working on one was very exciting and challenging at the same time.

After long hours of coding, I finally got my website online. Here I'm hoping to reach out to readers, designers and clients to share what comes into my attention in graphic design community along with some personal stuff. Thank you for dropping by!
